Board-to-Board Color Variation
Wood is a natural material that features changes in color and tone. The board-to-board color variation is more pronounced in some species, less in others. If you like the look of contrasting light and dark tones, select a species that offers "most" color variation. If you prefer consistent color from board to board, choose the "least" color variation.
The density/hardness of the wood species and its ability to withstand foot traffic, children and pets will impact its wear performance, and will vary from species to species. Strong, resilient Oak is used as the industry benchmark. The hardness scale shown to the left shows the relative hardness of this wood species.
Micron-beveled edge has the shallowest groove.
Micron-bevel and micro-bevel are so close that between manufacture they may be hard to determine any difference.

|Birch||Red Oak||White Ash||White Oak||Hard Maple||Santos Mahogany||Brizilian Cheery||Brizilian Teak||Brizilian Wanult|
Q: When ordering Hardwood flooring how much extra should I order to allow for waste?
A: Normally, for “running installation” the waste is about 3-5%. However, with the “free installation (herringbone, mosaic)”, it'll be up to 7-10%. The waste also depends on worker’s skill level and the layout of your room.
Q: What's the Lord Parquet free installation flooring?

Q: What are the different moldings and how are they applied?
A: 1)The Quarter Round molding is used to hide the expansion gap left around walls during installation.
2)The T- molding is used as a threshold in doorways or as a transition strip where the hardwood flooring meets floor or carpet of similar height. T-moldings can also be used to change the direction in which the floor is laid.
3)The Reducer molding is used as a transition from the height of the sub-floor to the height of the hardwood floor.
4)The Stair-nose molding is used to cover the front edge of a stair tread or step. If used on a stair, flooring is installed behind the Stair-nose to cover the horizontal part (the tread) of the stair. The Stair treads molding is a one-piece molding used to entirely cover the structural stair tread.
Q:Can you tell me the exact time a 1x20 ft container will be delivered?
A: Most containers take 4-6 weeks from time payment is received. There is a chance that it may take longer because of factors beyond our control. For example, security measures and Border Protection could possibly delay shipment.
Q:Which forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept L/C or T/T. The L/C should be irrevocable and payable at sight. If it is T/T, 30% down payment is request to be made according to the proforma invoice we issued. Then the balance payment can be done after receiving copy of Bill of Lading stamped shipped on board, Invoice and Packing List by email or fax.
